How to use this invoice generator

Fill in your business info, your customer's info, and the line items for the job. The preview on the right updates live as you type. When you're ready, click Print / Save as PDF — your browser's print dialog opens with the invoice formatted as a single clean page. Choose "Save as PDF" (or print to paper) and you're done.

Everything happens in your browser. Your data never leaves your device, we don't store anything, and there's no email capture or watermark. Close the tab when you're done and it's gone.

What should an HVAC invoice include?

A professional HVAC invoice needs: your business info (name, address, phone, email, and license number if your state requires it), the customer's name and service address, a sequential invoice number, issue and due dates, itemized line items (description, quantity, unit price, total), subtotal, tax, grand total, and payment terms. The invoice generator covers all of that except the license number — add it to your business name field or notes if you need it on the invoice.

Best practice is to be boring. Customers pay faster when the invoice looks like every other invoice they've paid — no fancy fonts, no quirky layouts, no confusing discount calculations. Line items first, math second, total last.

When should you send the invoice?

The same day the work finishes. Every day you wait is a day your customer forgets the value of the work and your cash flow gets worse. We wrote a full guide on this: How to Get Paid Faster as an HVAC Contractor.

Stop typing these from scratch every time

This generator is perfect for a one-off invoice or if you only bill a few customers a month. If you're writing more than one invoice a week, retyping your business info and customer details over and over is a waste of your evening. Tiko drafts full invoices from a chat message — "invoice Mrs. Johnson for the condenser install we just finished" — pulls the customer from your workspace, applies the line items from the estimate she signed, attaches a pay-now portal link, and sends it. You're done in 10 seconds.

Or let Tiko do this

Draft invoices from a sentence. Send them with pay-now buttons. Mark them paid automatically when Stripe clears the card.
